Leadership at Providence
Providence is served by its church officers, which include both elders and deacons, following the biblical example of the New Testament.
The church is governed by the spiritual oversight of the elders, called the session, who take special care in the ministry of the word and discipleship, while the diaconate exercises care for the church body in sympathy and service.
